We respect your privacy.  Menopause Society of Ireland provides resource and education to healthcare professionals, so they can provide the best care for women during menopause.  We value your engagement with us whether a healthcare professional, patron, supporter or woman experiencing menopause.

If we get a request for support from an individual, we will signpost you to healthcare professional or appropriate online resource then delete your details, unless you engage with us as a valued supporter or stakeholder.

Your Data.   When communicating with us, we will only ask for information that is relevant to our engagement with you and to ensure we provide the appropriate supports or resource.  This could include: -

  1. When signing up as a member to access resources and supports

  2. When signing up for an event such as conferences or webinars

  3. When signing up to our newsletter or our ‘contact us’ page

  4. When engaging with us as a valued supporter or patron

  5. When engaging with us as a partner, sponsor or other stakeholder

 

We will request basic contact details for communication and banking details for contract engagement.  All our newsletters, fundraising and marketing material will always have a clear unsubscribe option, without affecting other engagement with us.

We will retain your information, securely for no longer than is necessary, for the lifespan of our engagement with you and to meet our regulatory and legal requirements such as revenue and tax-deductible donations.

Third-Party Access.   We will never share your information with another organisation, without your request or permission. To ensure we run an efficient and secure organisation, we engage with the following applications and organisations. Be assured we carry out our own due diligence to ensure their privacy and security measures are appropriate and where possible engage under a Data Processing Agreement (DPA).

  1. Request a copy of any information we hold about you, so we will always store your information in a structured secure format

  2. Ask us to delete or stop communication with you, so we will always provide you with a clear unsubscribe option  

  3. Ask us to transfer a copy of your details to another organisation

  4. Ask us to maintain accuracy of your information. We will always encourage you to help us keep your details up to date.  

 

We will acknowledge and act upon your request without delay.If at any time we cannot oblige, due to legal or contractual reasons, we will explain this to you.
